Hi Zoe, firstly welcome and congratulations! Becoming a parent for the time isn’t easiest but it is the most rewarding and beautiful experience. Every day passes and you notice something changing with your baby. I’m sure you will love it! And what I have found is it gets easier the more routine you apply to yours and your baby’s daily life x

Hi Mollykate, no problem! Always here if you need a chat. I can not talk for everyone on that side of things but for myself I found myself just pushing through things alone because I wanted too and had too as no one else was going to do it. In terms of being a single mum it is a rollercoaster, I am a single mum of 2. I am not going to say it is easy but it is extremely rewarding and once your child grows up they will appreciate how much you’ve sacrificed and done for them. In terms of you being worried about your ex and his family, you are carrying your child and ultimately will be the one looking after your child. As a Mum if you feel like something is right for your child, do not doubt that. And it’s no doubt his family will get a one sided story, the same happened with my baby’s dad and they supported him but do you know what as long as you have your family, friends and supporters behind you. You will be fine! It is a question you will have to deal with in the future but Who knows, the baby’s dad’s attitude could change but if it doesn’t then once your child is at a reasonable age you explain. Not to make your child hate their father but so that your child is aware of why their father isn’t around xxx
