Become a Young Parent Ambassador
Young Parent Ambassadors are specially trained volunteers who work with Little Lullaby to make sure we are considering young parents in everything we do.
Little Lullaby trains Young Parent Ambassadors in Peer Education (BTEC Level 2) to give other young parents vital information about safer sleep through informal, interactive workshops as well as sharing their own personal experiences. Our safer sleep training will teach you how you can sleep a baby to reduce the risk of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), which is commonly known as cot death.
Our advice is based on strong scientific evidence and should be followed for all sleep periods, not just at night. Our young parents also give advice to midwives and health visitors about the best ways to build positive relationships/ communicate with young parents.
If you want to chat with an ambassador, visit our community. The ambassadors will be online to chat or answer questions about safer sleep and parenthood.
Become a Young Parent Ambassador
You can become a Young Parent Ambassador and use your experience to help other young parents. If you’re under 25, had your first child under 20 and are based in London, you can get training to deliver safer sleep workshops across the capital.
Young mum of two, Geneva, has shared her experience of being a Young Parent Ambassador. Watch below 🙂
If all of these requirements don’t apply to you, there are still other ways you can help us support other young parents. Email us at email@example.com for more information.
