Blog and vlog for us

Calling all young mums and dads! Do you have something to share with other young parents?

Could you use your experiences to give advice to others in a similar situation? Then we’d love to hear from you!

Young parents from across the UK, our Young Parent Panel and ambassadors contribute to the Little Lullaby blog by sharing their stories. Young mums and dads are welcome and encouraged to share their experiences from pregnancy, labour and birth, to education, sex and mental health (and everything in between!).

Writing a blog or filming a vlog is easier than you think. What you write or talk about is completely up to you, so feel free to suggest a topic that you have an interest in or have experienced as a young parent.

You don’t have to have any previous writing or filming experience, or any special video/editing equipment. We can help make your post the best it can be and we’re here to offer ideas and encouragement if you’re not sure where to start.

The only other thing we’ll ask for is a picture of you and perhaps your little one(s), or a personal photo that represents you if you want to remain anonymous.

Here’s what other young parents have said about blogging and vlogging for us

“It’s wonderful to get my voice as a young parent heard and to hopefully support other young parents at the same time.” – Ellie, mum at 19

“I feel encouraged and confident now, I feel like I have a voice and I can use it. My confidence is high and now I’m not that girl anymore that can’t speak in my marketing class.” – Sholar, mum at 15

“I have really enjoyed blogging for Little Lullaby. It has provided me with an opportunity to share my opinions and experiences as a mother who it is still learning and growing.” – Madison, mum at 19
