Maria shares her experience of graduating from uni with a daughter, and why it’s her greatest achievement.

Highlights from Maria’s vlog about graduating from uni with a daughter:

‘I did not know whether to drop out or to carry on…’

My name’s Maria, I have a daughter and she is one, her name is Arianna. When I had her I was 20 years old

When I found I was pregnant I was on my second year, end of second year. So then I did not know whether to drop out or to carry on because I really wanted to finish uni. So I decided to carry on and I think that was the biggest achievement I did, and sometimes you might feel oh maybe I might not make it because you have dissertations and exams. Just go for it, put your all just go for it because at the end when I think about it and I look back it was worth it.

The only thing I wish I did: I would have walked to get the graduation certificate with her but she was there so it’s fine. That was the proudest moment of this last year.
