About Little Lullaby
What is Little Lullaby?
Little Lullaby is a site for young parents, run by baby charity The Lullaby Trust and backed by the Big Lottery Fund.
Launched April 2016, the Little Lullaby website is an online forum where young and expectant parents can make friends, share advice, experiences, and support each other through pregnancy, birth and beyond.
Little Lullaby users can learn about reducing the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and become a Lullaby Trust Ambassador. By becoming an Ambassador, users receive peer-to-peer education skills, enabling them to go into their communities and deliver safer sleep talks to other young parents.

Little Lullaby is completely free to join.

How does the Community page work?
The Community section of Little Lullaby acts as a forum where our users can discuss all aspects of being a young parent and share tips and advice. On the main Community page you can see the latest comments from other users, see our featured groups, newest groups and most active groups. If you wish to view all groups, click the blue View All Groups button. To Join a group click the Join Group button. To make a group of your own, click Create A Group.
Do I need to be a member to join a group?
Only site members can view or join groups.
How do I start a new group in the Community?
Go to the main groups page and click on the Create A Group button at the top of the page. You will be asked to give your group a title and description. Once you’re written the title and description, click next and add an image if you wish. When you’re completed the steps click Finish. Your group is now live.
Who can see my posts in the Community?
Only registered Little Lullaby members can view Community posts
Who moderates the Community?
The Community is moderated by Little Lullaby staff.
Registration and Login
How do I register?
To register, simply click on the Register button in the top right corner or click anywhere else on the site where it says Sign Up. You will need to create a username and provide a valid, active email address. Once you have gone through the questions, a confirmation email will be send to your email address. Follow the instructions in the email to activate your account.
Can I change the information in my profile?
To edit your profile, sign in then click on your profile avatar in the top right corner of the website. You will then be re-directed to your profile page. Scroll down and click on the Profile tab beneath your username. On the new screen, you have the options to change your profile information, update your profile picture or your cover image.
What are avatars and how do I set mine up?
An avatar is the small circular image which appears next to any comments you place in our community forums or in other sections of the website. To add your own avatar, simply log-in then press the profile icon in the top right corner of the website. You will then be re-directed to your profile page. Scroll down and click on the Profile tab beneath your username. On the new screen, you have the options to change your profile information, update your profile picture or your cover image.
What sort of avatars am I allowed to use?
No indecent images are allowed to be used as avatars. We also strongly advise users to be cautious about uploading images of their babies or children to the website.
What do I do if I forget my Log-in?
If you forget your password, click on Log in in the top right corner of the website. When the Log in dialogue box appears, click on the ‘Lost your password?’ link. You will be prompted to insert your username or the email address you used to sign up to the website. Once you’ve entered that data, press Reset Password. A message will be sent to your email address. Open the email and follow the instructions to create a new password.

How do I become an Ambassador?
If you want to apply to become an Ambassador, please contact AnnieC@lullabytrust.org.uk for an application form. Please note that in order to become an Ambassador, you need to commit to weekly training and deliver 10 safer sleep workshops.
